Established by the parents and staff of Somerset College, the Acorn Bursary Trust (ABT) is a registered Public Benefit Organisation that believes education is the greatest form of empowerment. Through the building of a capital fund to support current and new bursary students for their full five years of high school, the ABT has brought the excellence of Somerset College education to deserving candidates from disadvantaged backgrounds for over 10 years.

By providing financial assistance, mentorship, and academic support, the ABT ensures that each bursary recipient has the opportunity to thrive both in and beyond the classroom. These students become part of a nurturing environment that fosters personal growth, leadership, and academic excellence, equipping them to make a meaningful impact in their communities. With ongoing support from donors and the Somerset College community, the ABT continues to change lives through the power of education.
